Aqua aerobic is the the most common type of exercise performed in water. It is the best and safest alternative form of exercise compared to exercising on land. It involves physical exercises performed in water (deep or shallow), either in a pool or in the sea. The exercises are done with body weight, using a noodle for some exercises or using the wall (if in a pool) for support or a partner. The density of water is 800 times greater than that of air. Thus, aerobic exercise in water provides high levels of energy consumption due to increased resistance with relatively little physical effort, while the joints and ligaments of the body are less burdened compared to exercising on land. It alleviates pain and consequently enhances the quality of life.

Is a water exercise program that is equally important and fun as aqua aerobics. It combines the benefits of Pilates with the benefits of exercising in water. The exercises are performed either in shallow or deep water, whether in the sea or in a pool, using the resistance of the water. For some exercises, a noodle, the pool wall, or a fellow participant is used for support.It is aimed at everyone, whether healthy individuals or special populations (musculoskeletal problems, chronic conditions, pregnant women, etc.) and at all ages regardless of gender.
